After college, Robin worked for several years as the marketing director of the area's first online service, based out of The Times Newspaper. After law school, she became an associate with a prominent NW Indiana firm, focusing on litigation and trial work--representing large corporations and trucking companies. After receiving her J.D., she studied for both the Indiana and Illinois bar exams simultaneously, taking both within the same week, passing both. She is licensed to practice in Indiana and Illinois courts. During law school, Robin clerked for the EEOC, BP Amoco's legal department, and a variety of large law firms. However, her heart was truly set on helping plaintiff's in a litigation capacity, working with individuals on their legal needs, and getting to know her clients and working with them personally. Robin is a graduate, Phi Beta Kappa, of Purdue University, where she received double major (B.A.) in Organizational Communications and Psychology. Robin is a member of the Illinois and Indiana bar associations, Indiana Trial Lawyers Association, the Lake County Bar Association (past board member).She is also a member of Tri Kappa, a philanthropic organization. Robin serves as a Guardian Ad Litem, pro bono, representing children involved in custody disputes, for Lake County courts.While working full time in Indiana, she commuted to Chicago and attended Chicago Kent College of Law at night. With a true desire for fairness and justice, Robin fights for causes in which she believes. | ||
